Our order was founded with the idea of preserving national consciousness and interests, but also seeking to preserve and defend the Christians tradition and religion. Humanitarian work, education and protection of Christianity, our holy sites and Christian values are the primary things of our order. We are committed to preserving the traditional Christian family that should be the guardian of the faith and the pillar of the state.
Members of our order had the status of knights in other ranks. The President of our Order was a member of the Grand Priority of Serbia Knights Templar, the international Templar organization Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi Hierosolymitani (OSMTH). With the establishment of the Military Knights Templars, he was honorably discharged from the OSMTH Order, but remained in friendly contact with his sisters and brothers and great respect for the order in which he resided.
We are a strictly military order, with military discipline, nationally oriented, with no political background. We are humanitarian in peace, and in the war real soldiers who are ready to fight for our Christian faith. We will always support a dialogue based on the protection of human rights and we will never hate other peoples and other religions because hate is not a characteristic of Christians.
What sets us apart from other Templar organizations is only the names of functions we have not adopted. Instead, since we are a military order, we have adopted the names of functions by military ranks. In addition, our Commandery is the highest instance, while the Brigade and Platoon are lower. The Brigade is an area that covers several Municipalities and each Brigade has its own name. The platoon is organized at the level of one municipality.
